Prefer him to Benitez TBH as Benitez wouldnt have stuck around 4 long as he's a CL Mgr.
Was v. impressed by Bilic's tenure @ Croatia & recall Besiktas giving Arsenal a scare in CL qualifiers last yr, particually liked his style of play so perfect fit 4 me

So what.....sakho was probably our 25th choice striker we tried to sign he didn't do to badly....in fact he's miles better than the bloke we spunked our entire budget on the year before

After Allardyce's tenure I would take David Pleat as the next manager... so Bilic is more than OK for me (if it's him)... lets be honest all this Klopp and co dreaming was laughable... Bilic is much more realistic

I don't think he'll be hated. If he's a failure, he'd probably be like Zola. People will feel sorry for him more than anything.

Possibly him- but of course he has the history of presiding over the most pathetic season I can ever remember in recent history.
But Bilic and most others absolutely wouldn't get as much abuse even if we were worse, unless they really were an obvious terrible choice. Largely because so much of the anger toward Allardyce was at a personal level rather than anything else. (Even though many people dressed it up as something more. Personally I preferred those who were just honest and said they hated him as a person and that was that.)

Bilic will never be as hated as Allardyce. Even if the football is of a worse standard. Even if the results are worse. Even if we get relegated.
In fact almost whoever is the next manager won't be as hated. Regardless of whether things are better or worse.
